Help!!! I have a 4510+E that the secondary supervisor has shut down and I am getting other temperature alarms. The closet isn't hot and I have a fan blowing on the switch. The fan tray isn't showing any errors.

is the grid on the side of the chassis blocked over with dust and dirt? If the closet isn't warm, I would check to make sure that the fan grid isn't blocked with dust. Seen that many times.

The sup in slot five is active

As per your original logs, I looked again.

all the slots alarming the heat - so it will impact your line cards, that will have chances to go malfunction due to heat (not recommended temperature) - I was not sure if TAC access burned line card RMA, never heard this situation.
