Session & Buffer Question

For each session, how many buffers are created? I think two 64kB buffers (TX & RX) are created per session, but my friend is telling me only one 64kB buffer is created per session. If you know the correct answer, please let me know.

 Why do you think that ? Did you get this from any doc? 

I think both of you may be wrong. What devices have actually is Buffer pool:

There are six buffer pools:

• Small—104 bytes buffers

• Middle—600 byte buffers

• Big—1524 byte buffers

• VeryBig—4520 byte buffers

• Large—5024 byte buffers

• Huge—18024 byte buffers

You can use the command "show buffers" and you even control buffer size with the command "buffers small initial 250"
