Hi Alan,
If it's a PC go to 'Config' tab and under 'Global Settings', you'll see a field for the 'Gateway.' Enter the IP address of the router’s LAN interface. Click the 'FastEthernet' tab on the left panel to set the host IP address and subnet mask.
Click the 'Desktop' tab, open a command or DOS prompt and type 'ipconfig' to verify.
