Hello,
I have a problem with the SFP module on my C3750 Switch. There is a File Server connected to one of the ports on the module (there are 3 Gi ports) and whenever there is a power outage the module stops working and there is no access to the File Server, i thought the port that the SFP module was currently connected to might be damaged (Gi1/0/1) so i switched to Gi1/0/2 it worked fine until another power outage occured.
Currently i have pluged the File Server to a Fe port on the switch and when there are power outages the File Server keeps functioning after them, the problem with the Fe ports is that they are segnificantly slower :(
Any ideas waht might be causing this?

Hi,
So, this only happens for fiber ports but works fine with copper ports?
Have you tried replacing the fiber patch and/or the SFP?

Hi,
Yes i have tried replacing the fiber patch and the SFP but whin no effect, after power outage the File Server still loses connection until i restart the device, that made me confident that its not a hardware issue with the SFP modules or the fiber patch.
