SFP not Working in Catalyst 4948E

Hello Everyone I have 2 switches Catalyst 4948GE with 10 X2 converter and Catalyst 4948E that have 4 SFP 10Gig Ports. I have bought huawei 10G SFP that are working very fine in 4948GE with X2 Converter but not in 4948E . It giving the error "Transceiver integrity check on port Te1/52 failed: bad crc". Please guide me how to resolve the issue. I want to replace 4948GE with 4948E.

Hi,

Not all 3rd party vendor SFPs work with Cisco switches.  You may want to try a different SFP from a different vendor or purchase one from a Cisco partner/reseller.

Hi,

Not all SFPs are not compatible with any Cisco switch. You must buy a compatible SPF for the Cisco Switch.

Hi,

Both Switches are different. What is IOS version on both switch? Also, share SFP details.

Have you trined "service unsupported-transceiver" command?
