Hello Guys,
I have a 2960S model which connected to my core 4500 series. If I wanted to use fiber to conect between 2960S and 4500, are these component are right for me?
Multimode LC/LC Duplex Fiber Optic cable 62.5/125
Both my switches already have the SFP modules.
Thanks.

Hi,
Be careful, because not all SFPs work work Cisco switches. The actual Cisco part number for MM SFP is:
GLC-SX-MM
As far as the fiber patch cord. 62.5/125 is older unless the rest of you fiber plant is 62.5, I would use 50/125.
LC to LC is correct

The link that for SFP, they said it works with Cat 2960.
Will that SFP transceiver work with both 62.5/125 and 50/125 ?

As long as it works with Cisco devices, you are fine.
and yes, the SFP will work with both 62.5/125 and 50/125.

I have sort of an issue also when it comes to SFP and the Transceiver. I have a 9400 LAN switch, which I will be up linking onto a 6509. The 6509 will have a X2-10GB-LX4 transceiver, however I do not know what will be comparable SFP is for that. Multimode fiber. Anyone care to enlighten me?
