I just got a used Cisco SG200-26 switch. Upon powering it up, all of the port status lights illuminate for half a second, then go out. The system light then begins to blink green and stays this way while the unit is powered on. I tried plugging computer into the switch in order to configure it, but the computer’s network adapter indicates that the computer isn’t connected to a network. I tried the factory reset process, but the switch never seems to reset. I will push and hold the reset button for up to 60 seconds and never see any change in the status lights to indicate that a reset or reboot is happening. I can definitely hear the click of the reset button when I press it with the pin.
Is it possible this switch is bricked? Has anyone else had this issue?

Remove all the Ethernet cables from the device - and also remove the power card - wait for 10min
Step 1. Hold the switch Reset button on the front of the switch for 15 to 20 seconds until all port LEDs glow. The switch reboots.
Step 2. Connect your PC to the switch directly using an Ethernet cable.
Step 3. Open any web-browser on your PC, enter the IP address of the switch in the address bar.

Thanks for your reply!
I tried the process you suggested, but the switch ports don’t light up and the switch never resets. When I plug a computer into the switch (with known good cable), the link lights don’t turn on. It seems to be that the switch does not want to reset. Could it be a firmware issue?

After resetting the Switch and waiting for 5min and if you connect the PC to the port as suggested, then you see the port should come up - so the PC can get the IP address. when you connect the PC to the port then if the port does not come up, then something is wrong in the boot process.
