tHi

he reason it doesn't support it because it has another similar protocol GVRP that does same thing

Its in the admin guide that this is what is used for passing vlans , the whole smb range supports GVRP instead of VTP ,VTP is purely on catalyst switches

GARP VLAN registration protocol (GVRP) allows devices to dynamically exchange VLAN configuration information to make configuration of VLANs easier. When the switch receives VLAN information through GVRP and GVRP Registration, the receiving interface joins that VLAN. If an interface attempts to join a VLAN that does not exist and Dynamic VLAN creation is enabled, the switch automatically creates the VLAN.

no i just need a document where cisco says SG-300 52P doesnt support VTP for a customer

Ask the SMB TAC team as its not in the admin guide for the paltform , it may not be in a doc , why would they need to state VTP is not available in SMB when it never has been in ay SMB platrform and it supports GVRP
