I have several SG350X-24P switches where the 10G uplink interfaces between those switches randomly gets down and instantly up again. This does not happen if I configure those ports to run with only 1G:
2147477133 | 2020-Dec-29 22:01:10 | Informational | %LINK-I-Up: te1/0/1 |
2147477134 | 2020-Dec-29 22:01:03 | Warning | %LINK-W-Down: te1/0/1 |
I've seen in the release notes of the current firmware version that there should be a command for those cases (https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbss/sf_sg250/release_notes/2_5_5_47_RN.pdf CSCvn74799) has anybody any further information about these commands and how to issue as the CLI description mentioned is still not updated to the last firmware version and the command itself “ports negotiation tuning" is unknown by the switch on exec, config and interface CLI level.
Or has anybody any other idea? The wiring hat Cat6a standard (verified). There are 8 switches affected.
Addendum: I tried to connect these switches by an Ethernet SFP+ Modul (10G chopper as well) and was not able to see those issues. Are there any known issues with the onboard chopper ports?

Hi,
a final update: after disabling EEE on one side the issue was gone ;).

Note the firmware release mentioned and or you may , for instance, need the latest firmware to have this command available.

Hi,
thanks for your reply and for finding the bug-entry. I already have installed the last firmware 2.5.5.47 on all switches. Nevertheless I was not able to find out how to issue the command. Do you have any idea?

- It's intended to be a CLI command, just enter it as such (do not rely on command-completion). If it does not work, what error is returned ?

I already did that. Here are the results:

- Then I think you will have to discuss this further with TAC-assistance.

Hello,
on a side note, one thing that sometimes help is a factory reset (in combination with a startup file deletion (step 3 and step 4 in the link attached). Then load the latest version again, and configure the switch from scratch.

After do that I could not find that command.
