SG500X - Interface Naming between 24P and 48P (Address Table)

Hello,

I have two SG500X switches. One is a 24P and one is a 48P. Both are in Standalone mode. Both are running 1.4.8.06.

From the Web GUI,

On the 48P, when I view Dynamic MAC Address Table, the ports are listed as GE1 - GE48.

On the 24P, they are listed as GE1/1 - GE1/48.

However from CLI, sending show mac address-table dynamic, both switches use the gi1/1 - gi1/48 naming.

So, why are they different in the Web GUI?

Hello,

1/1 is the default for a switch in standalone mode within the GUI (check page 6 of the attached user guide, section 'Interface Naming Conventions).

Right, but they are both in standalone mode, and configured the same as far
as I can tell...
