SG95-16 Loopback Error Question

I have a SG95-16.  When using it to expand another switch, I get a blinking amber loop LED. No matter the port, no matter the cable tried, even tried a crossover .....results are the same. The port has two green LEDs for a brief moment, then the left LED blinks amber.

I have cascaded switches before with zero issues. What am I missing?

 - If at all possible , avoid the use of unmanaged switches on any network ; the problem seems to be related to spanning tree and those parameters can not be controlled on the SG95-16. You could check the logs on the parent switch to check what happened .

When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

No logs to check. Even connecting the switch directly to an Xfinity router, the left lamps blinks amber. The switch is passing traffic. Using an older laptop with a 100Mb network card, I get downloads at 75Mb and uploads at 22 Mb, which is what I would expect.

Again, every port, any cable gives a loopback error. No other switch I have tried in the same configuration yields this error.
