Hi

I'm about to upgrade a lot of 3750 stack's

But on my stack's running

12.2(25)SEB4

I can not see the flash  for all switches in the stack

f.ex.

SW-CPH#sh flash?
flash1:  flash:

SW-CPH#sh sw
                                               Current
Switch#  Role      Mac Address     Priority     State
--------------------------------------------------------
*1       Master    0015.c691.dc80     1         Ready
2       Slave     0015.faf3.aa00     1         Ready
3       Slave     0015.faf3.9d80     1         Ready

But in my stack running

12.2(35)SE5

I can see all :

SW-WAW#sh fla?
flash1:  flash2:  flash3:  flash:

SW-WAW#sh sw
Switch/Stack Mac Address : 001c.b050.0d80
                                           H/W   Current
Switch#  Role   Mac Address     Priority Version  State
----------------------------------------------------------
1       Member 001e.1482.e980     1      0       Ready
*2       Master 001c.b050.0d80     1      0       Ready
3       Member 001e.132c.6a00     1      0       Ready

My issue will be downloading the new ios to the flash in every switch,  when  I can't se them.

any suggestions on what to do ?

I will try to reload one stack tonight to see if that helps, but my faith is weak

hoping for reply - thanks

Hi,

12.2(25)SEB4 is a deferred release and i guess that command will not work,

However you can try session into individual switches and issue show flash.

for example there are three switches in the stack. for checking the third switch's flash,

Issue the command "session 3" from the master switch

show flash:

Hope this helps

Cheers

If any one of your 3750 has a flash size of 16mb, then the highest version of the IOS your stack can go is the 12.2(55)SE.

Have a nice day !

Thanks - we would like to have them all  running on : 12.2(53)SE2

I need to ask one more question

I can see that I can't download any IOS from tftp when I'm logged in with the session command.

How should  I proceed to upgrade these switches (without splitting the stack, configure trunks and ip's)

Ok, let's presume you have four switches in a stack.  Then the command should be:

archive download-sw /destination 1 /destination 2 /destination 3 /destination 4 /overwrite tftp:///

can we use 12.2(55)SE7  for the flash of 16 mb.

can we use 12.2(55)SE7  for the flash of 16 mb.

Yes.  You can load 12.2(55)SE on a 3560 or 3750 with 16 mb flash.  I'd recommend you look into SE8 or SE9 as there have been some major improvements to the codes compared to SE7.
