When I run "sh interfaces transceiver" on a 4500 it fails to display any details. SFP modules fitted are GLC-LH-SMD=. When swapped into a 3750X "sh interfaces transceiver" works fine. Anyone resolved this issue ?

Hi,
Here is your answer.
You should check
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matri
x/OL_6981.html#wp142660
This tells which release we start supporting an SFP and which release we start supporting
DOM.
This shows that GLC-LH-SMD does not support DOM as of now.
We have logged the bug for the same:

Can you run this cmd:
sh int transceiver detail

That is my issue unfortunately it displays nothing as you can see:
admin-sw1#sh int transceiver detail
admin-sw1#
admin-sw1#
I have 8 x GLC-LH-SMD= spread across blades 4 and 7 but no status details are displayed

Issue:
4500 switch, show interface transceiver fails to display any details.
Bug:
CSCum99103 unfortunately doesn't seem to be publicly available.
Questions:
Has this bug been resolved in the meantime?
If so:
Which 4500 software versions were affected?
In which 4500 software versions has it been resolved?
If not:
Is there a workaround?

Having looked at our 4500X switches it appears to be the case that "show interfaces transceiver" only produces output on 10Gb optics. With 1Gb SFPs you get no output even though as already mentioned by the OP this works on other Catalyst products and I have also seen it works on Nexus 7000.
