Other counts: Total/RPF failed/Other drops(OIF-null, rate-limit etc)

Group: 224.0.1.50, Source count: 0, Packets forwarded: 0, Packets received: 0

Group: 235.80.1.1, Source count: 0, Packets forwarded: 0, Packets received: 0

Group: 239.255.1.1, Source count: 1, Packets forwarded: 0, Packets received: 7065

  Source: 10.1.12.1/32, Forwarding: 0/-31/0/0, Other: 7065/0/7065

Getting Pkts per second in negative and other drops are more any idea?

The Other drops increment due to things like OIF list was empty or because the packets were discarded because of a configuration, such as ip multicast rate-limit, was enabled.

First, is this incrementing?  Are you getting joins on the group?  Do you see 239.255.1.1 in the OIL (show ip mroute)?

Do you see drops on interfaces or input / output buffers?

Hi Nelson,

Yes. It's incrementing. router is joining the group but it's not forwardin the traffic. In router show ip mroute has the group 239.255.1.1

1. Packets forwarded: 0, Packets received: 12056

2. We see input drops in Lan interfaces -

Input queue: 1/75/182/0
