show mac address-table dont work

I am studying for the CCNA exam from the "CCENT/CCNA ICND1 100-105 Official Certification Guide".

I am on the 156 page, Demonstrating Mac Learning

I wrote show mac address-table in the Switch CLI but i didnt seem something.

Hi @bade11 ,

 

The switch learns MAC addresses when it receives traffic on its ports.
If no traffic has yet occurred, the MAC table will be empty, like the image you show.
I suggest simulating traffic(for example through a ping or a DHCP request) from the final devices connected to that switch and rechecking.
