Hello All ,

I issued a show process cpu command and my cpu reads 85% , but i cant find the process causing the high utilisation . What could be the issue.

I am using asr1002 running Cisco IOS Software, IOS-XE Software (PPC_LINUX_IOSD-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 15.0(1)S, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1).

How can is see the process causing the high cpu utilisation.

Hi,

It could be that multiple PID cause the high CPU not just one.  So, you may see one PID as 20% and another one at 35% etc....

Can you post the output of "sh process cpu"?

I'm unfamiliar with the ASR1000 series, but could the "missing" processing be Interrupt CPU?  It might help if you could post more of the show proc CPU display, perhaps first 5 lines or so if sorted option supported.
