im trying to track down a network performance issue, because transfers to our as400 are very slow. IBM says its not an issue on their side because they are seeing resends in the trace file.
I did notice some output errors on some of the ports as well as some in the buffers.
Could these be what is causing the issue. See below the text from the show buffers command. Im new to having to modify buffers if this is needed, so some tips/advice on this would be great.

I was looking for CRC errors, but I don't see any on any of the interfaces that you posted. The output drops that you're seeing could be due to qos or congestion in general. What are you transferring? FTP? I don't see anything glaringly wrong...

Can you post the results from "show inter <port the as400 connects to>"?

here is the ohq numbers from the show int sum. Gi24 is a trunk to another switch that all the PC's are ran off of. I see the output errors on that port.

its just a windows transfer to mapped ifs shares on the as400 I would guess its SMB.
