sniffer software

I have a client will purchase several cisco products, but they want a sniffer software for wire and wireless.

What about wildpackets, airopeek, cisco cognio, etc.

Somebody can recomend a good software?.

Depends what kind of function you want , for free you have wireshark for wired packet sniffing. Network instruments makes good wired and wireless packet sniffing products.
