We have MAB configured on our switch ports and I have a case that I would like to force reauthentication through SNMP.
Would someone know the MIB object to trigger the reauthentication of a particular port and the value to write so that it gets triggered ?
The current implementation shutdown and no shut a port, but we are deploying IP telephony and resetting the switch port does not really play well anymore. So we still would want to force a reauth after a change of vlan in the DB but, as mentionned, recycling the port does not really play well without affecting the phone connected to a particular targetted port.
This is why triggering a reauth of the port would be better, not affecting the cisco phone plugged in the same port.
