Hi
I have a two 6500 switches, and wonder if its possible to get, how much power our swiches are using (consuming) through SNMP?
I want to see power consumption in an SNMP application (Cisco Works).
Is this possible?
i have looked here
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?local=en
but dont find any good MIB for power.

CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB along with ENTITY-MIB must be what you're looking for.

Hi
Thanks for answering my question. I looked at the webpage you gave me, and I'm still trying to find OID for power, which I can use with my SNMP application is this correct OID to use? 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.91.x.x

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.91.1.1.1
Just checked - it doesn't return any data about power on 6504-E with s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SRA1.bin :/
