Hello
I have switches ws-c2960x-24ps-l and ws-c2960x-48fps-l. When I use the IOS version "c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2a.EX5.bin", the following command "snmp-server enable traps dot1x auth-fail-vlan guest-vlan no-auth-fail-vlan no-guest-vlan" is recognized. But when I upgrade our switches into "c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E" version, the same command is no longer recognized.
Do you know why ? In the new version, this command has been removed ? And replace by which command ?

Hello
The reason why the dot1x traps are no longer available is due to bug CSCux69533 which explains that dot1x traps are not supported from 15.2(1)E onwards
Hope this helps

Hi,
could you confirm this command is back with latest IOS ? or it is still not available ?
snmp-server enable traps dot1x auth-fail-vlan no-auth-fail-vlan
Is the bug you mentionned has been fixed ?
Is there another way to implement dot1x trap ?
Thanks for your reply.
Best Regards
Serge

Hi,
do you have some news regarding this bug ?
I also heard that : The BUG file is filled for this issue: C3750X Switch is not sending SNMP Traps for critical vlan assignment.
Thanks for your feedback

Hi serge.zangheri,
What ever lmarinsa said is correct. The bug is internal though. However it is confirmed that dot1x traps are no longer supported from 15.2(1)E onwards
Hope this helps.
