solution for replacing nxos switches

Hi,

I have situation, need to replace existing cisco nexus switches with different models , VPc`ed and  VXLAN fabric  

My question,  as soon as we replace the switch because of compatibility issues  VPC  never forms  because of different models am looking for seamless replacement if so, do we have any steps (3-4 sec impact ok).

You want to replace the kit with same model or new Model ?

If you looking different model, then buy 2 new Model switch and build offline and connect to exiting vPC and start Migrating the Services and any SVI to new Switch, that is best approach with minimal downtime.

you can not build vPC with different models.

But am not sure this solution works for VXLAN setup because he says STP priority to be  high but i don`t see stp priority configured in vxlan network

• The replacement Switches should have a Higher (less preferred) STP Priority than the existing ones so that they don't take over and become the Root Bridge for the vPC VLANs
