EDIT:
Hello guys,
what a stupid mistake from me! I've forgot that i have applied some basic security configuration, which included command to drop all IP packets with Options field set:
ip options drop
Because IGMP Membership Report packets use Router Alert Option this type of traffic was dropped unconditionally.

Hello Everybody,
our Cisco 6509-E System Version:DUAL-Sup720-12.2(33)SXJ6
is not processing IGMP Membership Reports on SVIs, for this example I've configured SVI VLAN 920 as LAN SVI and SVI VLAN 608 serves as PIM uplink. The switch is in default configuration.
ip multicast-routing ! interface Vlan920 description tvcore-iptv-test ip address 172.16.40.1 255.255.255.0 ip helper-address 172.16.8.11 ip pim sparse-mode
when clients try to Join (Report) some groups nothing happens regarding the mroute and IGMP Group table :

What does "show ip mroute 224.0.1.40 count" say? Maybe the source IP address of group 224.0.1.40 is unreachable from the router (that is, the group fails the RPF check)...
06-08-2015 06:32 AM
Hi Iulian,
224.0.1.40 is AUTO-RP-DISCOVERY group automatically added by router. I'am trying to join some other private groups, like our 239.1.152.X range or from our GLOP range 233.X.Y.Z. That is the problem, that i don't see this group addresses in mroute or IGMP table, with debug output showing only General Query on VLAN 920, but not any Membership report.
#show ip mroute 224.0.1.40 count IP Multicast Statistics 1 routes using 552 bytes of memory 1 groups, 0.00 average sources per group Forwarding Counts: Pkt Count/Pkts per second/Avg Pkt Size/Kilobits per second Other counts: Total/RPF failed/Other drops(OIF-null, rate-limit etc) Group: 224.0.1.40, Source count: 0, Packets forwarded: 0, Packets received: 0
But thanks anyway for your input.
