spanning-tree mode pvst command

Hello, I just noticed on a router configuration the the command "spanning-tree mode pvst" has been entered.

Is there any reason why a router would require this command in it's config file or is it just a mistake that it is there.

What model router do you have? Can you send a show version and show inventory? Most likely you have a switching module installed in it.

It is actually a packet tracer simulation.

A 'show version' reveals:

Based on the above, should I leave the config entry "spanning-tree mode pvst" on the router or delete it ?
