I have a cisco switch 3512-XL with ios 12.0 (5).
I have 7 ports ethernet used and here is the distribution:
eth0---pc
eth1---pc
.
.
eth5---pc
eth6---Linksys dd-wrt in repeater mode (for one section in my office)
eth7---Linksys dd-wrt in repeater mode (for Second floor)
All works fine, but when any of the pc's or any client connected to any of the linksys starts downloading (internet) heavy traffic the network slows down dramatically and the access to internet for the rest of the clients simply is impossible.
I had a cs-2924EN-XL before this 35xx and I had no issues like the one I have now or any other matter at all as to bandwith.
I checked the config via GUI and all seems to be fine.
I used to have the same bandwith in all ports in my old 2924...
Any ideas guys, I would appreciate your help very much. I have almost 2 weeks like this and I'm thinking about getting my 2924 back.
Thank you in advance.

Check to make sure the interface connected to the linksys isn't in half duplex mode.

I agree with Timothy.
Check and make sure all your ports have speed and duplex settings. Make sure none of the active ports have line errors or have negotiated to 10 Mbps and/or half-duplex.
