Hi all.
I have setup SPS2024 link aggregation(802.3ad) with two hosts: the one side four 1g ports
Solaris 11 aggregation (storage), the one side two 1g ports Linux bonding (client).
The tests shows normal distribution of a sending traffic over several ports on both hosts, but only
one port used for receiving, so only 1 gigabit utilized. Setup multiple IP aliases or tuning port
selection policies is nothing changing.
Distribution of inbound traffic on a host do right way (two or more ports used) only if one of LAGs
is destroyed and sending side works like common clients with 1g port.
The question is: is this restriction imposed by 802.3ad specification or just property of the certain
switch model? Is there a workaround?
