Hi
How can I change the redundancy mode from RPR to SSO in a Cat4507R+E with SUP7L-E and IOS XE .03.04.05.SG.151-2.SG5? The commands:
redundancy - mode sso ... is not available:
lan_4507_1(config)#redundancy
lan_4507_1(config-red)#mode ?
rpr Route Processor Redundancy
lan_4507_1(config-red)#
One of the reasons that I found to not to be able to configure SSO is a mismatch in config at two SUP7L-E but it is solved with the command:
redundancy config-sync ignore mismatched-commands... then: redundancy reload peer
but it dosen`t work:
Both supervisors has the same ROM: 15.0(1r)SG10 and the same 2097152K/20480K bytes of memory
The licence information is:
License Information for 'WS-X45-SUP7L-E'
License Level: lanbase Type: Default. No valid license found.
Next reboot license Level: lanbase
some suggestion? thanks

You need to purchase a new license.
See this link for details -
note you can try a new license before you buy it so you can make sure it works first.

Jon
The switch has become with a licence included and needs to be activated through the comands:
lan_4507_1#license right-to-use activate ipbase
lan_4507_1(config)#license boot level ipbase
then... reload
so the switch is on SSO mode now
Thanks and best regards
