                   Hi everyone,

  i have 2 stack switches

sh switch  stack-ring  speed

Stack Ring Speed        : 16G
Stack Ring Configuration: Half
Stack Ring Protocol     : StackWise

sh switch  stack-ring  activity

Sw  Frames sent to stack ring (approximate)
------------------------------------------------
1     16864205185
2      3894031560

Total frames sent to stack ring : 20758236745

They  only have single stack cable connected right now.

Need to confirm if there is any benefit  in speed if i connect other stack cable also.?

Will it increase the performance of switch?

Thanks

MAhesh

In theory, yes connecting the other stack cable provides increased performance, as you'll have two active stack links between your two units.
