Hi All,
I'm planning to reset the 'secret' password as well as console + ssh passwords for 6 x Cisco 3750 switches, stacked together.
I've successfully booted into 'switch>' mode upon a number of switches, only two of which were stacked - nothing unexpected happened, other than the startup config extracted from the switches were identical (I was expecting some form of 'switch A' and 'switch B' identifying each switch).
Is this normal or should there be something different on each stacked switch.
My thinking being if I can reset the passwords and copy the config from one of the six switches, I may not have to do the same on the other 5 if the config is identical.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response Leo!
I've got those stages noted from the other switches I've been working with.
Is there a way to identify the master switch, if its not labelled up?
Thanks

Usually there's a an extra led on front of the master switch lit up ,no 7 led
You can use the switch LEDs to monitor switch activity and its performance. Figure 1-4 and Figure 1-5 show the switch LEDs and the Mode button that you use to select one of the port modes.

Brilliant, thanks for this bit of info.
I'll have a look and see if I can determine the master switch.
Thanks
