stacking 3750X with other older 3750 models ios versions?

I'm having trouble getting these 2 switchs to stack  - is it a ios issue or a version ?

The first 3750,   is a WS-C3750-24PS-S hardware model, and is running “c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE1.bin” software.

The second 3750, WS-C3750X-24P-L hardware model, and is running “c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE5.bin” software.

It depends if the 3750 is operational or not. If operational, you have to do it during out of hours or you downgrade the 3750X which is not wise.

backup the config on the 3750, connect the stack and delete the flash of the 3750.

copy the flash of 3750X to 3750

boot flash.

to copy flash from 3750x to 3750 (this assumes that 3750 is the master and 3750x is the member.)

     copy flash2: flash:

     copy flash: flash2: (if the 3750x is the master)
