Stacking cisco 3750G with 3750

As Jon said, yes. But pls make sure you use the same IOS verison's & same revisions for both switches.

As stated, Yes you can do that...

And in general this is what you need to do....

1. Unstack both switches and reboot them.
   
2. Make sure both switches are booting the SAME IOS binary file. If they are different versions it won't work.
   
3. Save a copy of the both switches configurations on your PC (if you need to keep the configuration)
   
4. Do a write erase on both switches.
   
5. Power them both off.
   
6. Stack them
   
7. Power them both on (if you have a preference for which one you want as Master, power that one on first wait a few minutes and then power on the other one.)

As the others have already noted, yes you can.  I believe any 3750 can be stacked with any other 3750, although other considerations/issues might arise.  For example, the C3750G-12S supports a unique, to it, SDM template; mixed 3750 series (i.e. original, -E, -X) are more difficult to upgrade; -X series units can share power; mixing original 3750s with -E/-X 3750 loses Stackwise+ features; etc.
