Hi Everyone,
I have a question on Stackwise-Virtual configuration on 2 Cisco 9500 switches.
Scenario:
- 2 9500 switches with port 46, 47 configured for Stackwise, both are using 25G SFP modules, port 48 also used 25G SFP module and configured for: "virtual dual-active-detection"
I would like to increase the throughput of the Stackwise with 40G SFP modules, can I keep the port 48 with 25G SFP without having to increase to 40G SFP?
Thank you all in advance,
Byme88

For DAD 1GB is good enough, so I do not see any issue you can keep the DAD link as it is and change the SVL peer links.
Make sure to read the release notes of the IOS XE code running.
