Could this message be symptom of poor application performance from our data centre?

We have storm control switch on on the links between data centre switches. Is this suggesting loops in our data centre network?

I had a similar issue once and it the culprit was a NIC  card on a desktop pc,  I dont believe it is indicative of a loop unless you had other symptoms,  ie high traffic utilization or poor performance on the switch,  also there is a separate protection mechanism for this,  broadcast storm control which is usually configured side by side to multicast storm control.

Thanks, we do have servers connected directly, do you think it could be a NIC from a server?

yes we do also have broadcast storm control applied.
