Hi.

We setup the following in a interface trunk:

storm-control broadcast level 5.00

storm-control action shutdown

storm-control action trap

spanning-tree guard loop

Aster a few days the interface went down.

Do you know how can we determine what cause the issue?

Where o What we can check?

Hi

I think there is no proper value for the storm control, it can depend of traffic passing through your network. Is your port as blocking or Link down? it can be verified using show storm-control

You could use storm-control action trap only in order to verify the alerts and if it is required you can shutdown the port manually.

You could use the command line after business hours:

debug storm-control statistics
debug storm-control detection
