STP Between Cisco and Linksys

Hi All,

Can any body has idea about STP that is possible to enable STP between Cisco 3560 and Linksys switch?

As i found Cisco 3560 has PVST and Repid-PVST options where in case of Linksys there is no any option of such a version, linksys has only Classic STP, RSTP and MSTP options available.

I have still enable STP with different version at both and and connected two different links but within 2 sec link is getting looped and packets are getting dropped.

Any body has idea?

Better use rapid-PVST in both switch. It is compatible for both. Use this Spanning Tree Protocol Problems and Related Design Considerations
