SUP vs MSFC vs 3550EMI

Hi Guys,

Im looking to do some L3 switching for my CCNP training. Could someone please explain or show me links to the difference between a standard SUP, one with MSFC and the 3550EMI in relation to L3Switching.

Also, why is their one IOS for the MSFC/SUP and another for the chassis?
