Sup720 ios upgrade

i have Cisco 6509-E series sup 720 with ios version. I want upgrade same sup 720 in different 6506 (without E)  and put in 6509-E. Is it possible?

Hi,

If I understood you correctly, you would like to move a Sup720 between an E-series and a non-E series chassis. This is possible because the only difference between the E and non-E chassis is the power supply capacity they can handle. There should be no issue when moving a sup between them.
