Does anybody know what is the difference between WS-SUP720-3B and WS-SUP720-BASE? I was looking at Cisco's web site, but it did not have any explanation. Thanks

I knew that one the BASE comes with the 3A and the 3B comes with the 3B PFC, I forgot to put it in the previous post. What I would like to know is that if there is any difference between the two SUP720s? Would it cause any issue if one of the switches has a 720-BASE and the other has a 720-3B and they are connected together by ether-channel?
see this link for sup720 variations and capabilities -
In answer to your specific query about issues the answer is probably not ie. most things would work fine but obviously you may get some inconsistencies if the sup has different support eg. from the above sheet the sup720 does not support ACE counters and does not support MAC ACLs on IP.
Edit - you also need to be aware of the interaction between the PFC and any DFC you have on your modules. See this link -

SUP720-BASE (no longer sold) comes with PFC3A while SUP720-3B comes with PFC3B.
Table 3. describes the basic differences in features between the PFC.
