No the supervisor ws-x4515 is designed for Catalyst 4K chassis :

For chassis 6506, you can use supervisor card from this list : Supervisor Engine 2, Supervisor Engine 32, Supervisor Engine 32 PISA, Supervisor Engine 720, and Supervisor Engine 720-10GE

Just to add/clarify the information provided for 6506 "supported" sups, in the link provided by @Jerome BERTHIER, first note the date on the document, 7/11, i.e. you should check EoL status for both your chassis and those sups.

Certain sups, although they will work in your chassis, may only be true with certain IOS versions.  I.e. the older sups are unlikely to still be supported in the later IOS variants, and the later sups, not supported in the earlier IOS versions.  (Release notes, for those sups and/or IOSs, might clarify IOS version[s] needed.)

Further, it's important to identify whether your 6506 is the original or -E variant.

Lastly, the sup1 might work in your 6506 too, but at the time of the document, may have already gone EoL.
