Hi,

I have two 4500-X on which I want to activate an LACP :

interface Port-channel3
switchport
switchport mode trunk
!
interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/14
switchport mode trunk
channel-protocol lacp
channel-group 3 mode passive OR active
end

TenGigabitEthernet1/1/14 is up, line protocol is down (suspended)

I don't understand why I systematically get the message LACP currently not enabled ?

Hi

 what do you have connected on this interface?  Does it supports LACP? Have  you tried with "channel-group 3 mode  on"

Port in suspended means the other side may refuse to agree on the LACP mode.

Hi,

I found the problem ! Switches use VSS... The virtual-domain is identical on the 4500-X pair.

By changing the virtual domain on a pair the LACP works. However, I don't really understand why this has an influence ?

Virtual domain must be different and port channle mode should be ON.
