SWITCH 3850 TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Hi...

we are implementing a switch 3850 temperature sensor monitoring and we see three sensor:

  • temperature sensor 0
  • temperature sensor 1
  • temperature sensor 2

what we want to know is where are these sensor physically located so we can distinguish them.

for example: sensor 1 can monitor CPU temperature or sensor 2 can monitor intake temperature and sensor 3 outake temperature.

waiting your sooner answer.

Hi,

generally those sensors are  intake, CPU and exhaust. You can tell the difference because the intake is always a bit cooler than the exhaust, and the CPU is hotter than both. but finally it worth noting on 3850s, there are temperature related bugs that will create problems with temperature monitoring, see
