It is possible to have one or more switches with the same Base Ethernet MAC Addres and Device-ID. Is there any way to change this information?

These switches were purchased together. The problem I'm having is that Switch 01 has been installed and is working normally. Now when I'm trying to put Switch 02 on the network, switch 01 goes offline. I can't get the two to work together.
