Switch configuration

hi,i am litle confused on this..

on a switch when you add the following commands on line vty configuration mode

login local

transport input telnet ssh

username name password pass

the user can login to switch via ssh and the switch will prompt for a username and password right?

when a user using telnet will be prompted only for the password?

will a telnet user be able to logon?

In that configuration telnet will prompt for username as well as password. (The behavior of SSH and Telnet will be the same for this configuration.)
