Hi,

I have a problem where some users are facing general slowness in the network, this is affecting internet, email and some application.

I checked these users and I found some packet drops when pinging their machines, also whe I intiate a ping with a large size packet 65500 bytes the user machines do not replay at all.

In the Cisco 2960 I checked the status of the interface, every thing seems normal expect that i found the users sharing a large total output drops

Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 820720130

Other users connected to the same switch and the same vlan are not facing the issues.

Appticate any kind of help

I'v also noticed that for the interfaces that have the issue, under show controller utilization, transmit utilization is 1.

Do you have any SAN and/or database servers connected to this switch.  Also what does your "show system mtu" looks like?

No, only users and printers

MTU shows 1500

Not all users on the stack are affected,

However the affected users show
Total output drops (ex:486)
Controller utilization (Transmit 1)
OutDicard (ex: 727)
