Can't Login to Brand New Router

I have a brand new 1921 router that I can't login to using cisco/cisco.  Anyone ever see this and know if there's a new password?

I don't have physical access so I can't reboot it until Monday.  Just wanted to get it working today.

Have you tried cisco/Cisco? I know some of the other equipment capitalizes the first letter...

Yea I've tried every combination I could think of....

admin/cisco

cisco/cisco123

cisco/Cisco

cisco/Cisco123

admin/cisco123

admin/yourmom

cisco/admin

I think I'm just gonna have to wait until I get physical access again...  grrr

Timothy,

The info I read says that out of the box the defaults cisco/cisco should work. Did someone configure it before it was installed and maybe changed the username/password without you knowing about it?

no. I took it out of the box yesterday and racked it up.  Should have logged in before leaving I guess...  Oh well.  I'll wait until I'm back on site to power cycle.

Likely someone has accessed before you, or the factory made a mistake.

You will have to do a password recovery.

Hi Timothy,
i encountered the same issue using a cisco 1941 router. If at the first boot you don't access the router with default cisco/cisco credentials and change it before the serial connection is timed out you'll not able to connect again using thise credentials.

I think the unique solution is reboot the router.

Have you tried "Cisco or cisco" username but with no password just hit enter?

Yes tried all the above usernames without a password as well.
