I have a Cisco 9300 switch and due to limitations, I need to use LAN to FO media converter to terminate the link on Switch FO port. But my media converter support 100Mbos and not Gbps. When I connect these links, FO port on switch never comes up. I also tried setting speed as non-negotiate vs auto but no luck. How to resolve this?
I am using ctc media converter.

If the fiber interface is on the switch side, they are usually Gig or 10Gig (pending on the optic you are using). You cannot change a fiber interface from Gig to 100MB.
What is the switch model?
What interface you are trying to convert?
What is the media converter's part number?

Cisco switch is 9300 and the FO port is Gi1/1/2, distance is 1 KM and type is Single mode.
Media converter model is CTC Union IMC-1000C and I have the options (please refer the attached screenshot) to set on the media converter using DIP switches.
What mode should I select.

So this media converter can support 1 Gbps.

No, it supports 100Mbps only. if I terminate the link on normal copper port it comes up.
How can I debug further?

Picture says it: Force Fiber speed to 1000Mbps

how to force 1000mbps on FO port? I tried tp set, no negotiate and nonegotiate settings but did not work. There is no command to set speed on FO port.
My connection is as following, converter support 100Mbps only.
LAN----> MEDIA CONVERTER ----> FO ----> 9300-SWITCH
The following setup is working but I do not want to use media converter tat two places.
LAN----> MEDIA CONVERTER ----> FO ----> MEDIA CONVERTER ----> LAN ----> 9300-SWITCH

What optics is used on the switch? (Please provide the exact model number.)
What is the wavelength of the cable, OM or MM?If the media converter only supports 100BaseFx then the optics on the switch side must also be of the same speed and same wavelength.
