Some users complains that they disconnected from Lan for some seconds and return again.
How to check the switch 2960 error logs to confirm that the switch is failure or working properly

hi,
are you using local syslog? this might not be enough as buffer size is limited and can be overwritten.
still the best way to monitor up/down ports is to configure remote syslog and add/or add the switch to NMS, ie. solarwinds or PRTG.
