Hello Yasmeen,
here we mean the IOS version
use show version this tells you the model and other information including the IOS running.
or
even
show version | include image
this tells the filename of the image running.
This might be a minor cosmetic software bug, it is not normal.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hello Yasmeen,
it would be nice to have also the switch model.
Try the following:
config t
default interface gi1/0/48
exit
and verify if this solves the multiple instances of gi1/0/48 in the configuration output.
Hope to help

Hello Yasmeen,
ok it didn't solved.
Ask for a maintenance window of half an hour and perfom a reload in that time window.
Before doing the reload collect all useful info
with
(enable logging to a file of printable output before on your telnet/SSH client software)
show tech-support
save the log file in a text file. For possible future use.
The reload may solve this issue if the triggering cause is the uptime that can be of several weeks or mounths.
Hope to help
Giuseppe
