Hello All,
I have a few blade servers with cisco switch modules installed in them. The problem i am having is that some of my internal ports connected to internal servers are giving output drops.
Please see the attached file for info.
If u need more infomation plz feel free to get in touch.
Can u please help me out of this issue, i will really appreciate your help.

You need an ethernet under the interface to catch any potential drops. (j/k)
See if either of these help:

May I request for the complete output of the command "sh contr e g5/0/7" please?
You can also try one way, clear both counters ("clear contr e g5/0/7" and "clear count g 5/07"). Next bring the interface speed of Gig 5/07 to 100 mbps and see if the output drop is still incrementing.

Hello Leolaohoo,
I can't configured the port to 100 meg because they are production servers .
Anyway i am posting the show controller command, please keep in mind they are IBM bladecentre's switch modules.
Please find the output below.

Thanks for the output
Links look clean.
I had similar issues with a Exchange server. Output drops was incrementing really fast. Links look clean (much like your output). So we told the admin to throttle his server down to 100 Mbps and the output drops from the switch links (8 links) to the server stopped immediately.

I realize this is old, however I thought I'd respond.
I would make sure you add "trunk" on the end of the portfast command since it's a trunk.
