Hello @wasedanuu2008

To test your refurbished c2960X, ensure that it functions properly and meets your network requirements.

Check for any physical damage or signs of wear and tear. Ensure all ports, buttons, and indicators are intact and functioning.

Connect the switch to power and observe if it boots up properly. Check for any unusual noises or LED patterns during startup.

Use a console cable to connect to the switch and access the CLI. Verify that you can access and configure the switch.

Also, connect devices to various ports on the switch and verify that they can communicate with each other and access the network.

Test specific features to ensure they function as expected.

Verify that the switch has the latest firmware installed. If not, consider upgrading to the latest stable version for security and performance enhancements.

Ensure that the switch comes with all necessary documentation, including warranty information, user manuals, and any refurbishment certifications. Last, verify the warranty and support options provided by the vendor in case you encounter any issues post-purchase.

Best regards

Pop the lid, take a photo of the motherboard and upload it.

I want to see if the switch is counterfeit or not.

Hello,

the global config command:

diagnostic bootup level complete

used to be around. This command initiates a comprehensive hardware diagnostic test during the switch boot process. It performs various tests on hardware components such as CPU, memory, interfaces, and power supplies. Note that this command may take some time to complete and may impact switch operation during the test.
